1. High hardness cast iron:

o High chrome cast iron: with high hardness and good wear resistance, commonly used in the manufacture of wear-resistant parts, such as rolls, grinding balls, etc., PCBN inserts can effectively cut and process it.

o Alloy cast iron: contains a variety of alloying elements, excellent performance, widely used in automotive, machinery and other industries, PCBN blade can realize its efficient machining.

o Nickel-hard cast iron: high hardness, good abrasion resistance, PCBN inserts can be used for machining parts made of nickel-hard cast iron, such as wear-resistant parts in mining machinery. o White cast iron: high hardness, good abrasion resistance, PCBN inserts can effectively machine it.

o White cast iron: high hardness, brittle, PCBN inserts with its high hardness and wear resistance, can be roughing and semi-finishing. 2.

2. High hardness steel parts:

o High-manganese steel: with good toughness and work-hardening characteristics, commonly used in the manufacture of wear-resistant parts, PCBN inserts can overcome its work-hardening problems to a certain extent, to achieve efficient machining.

o High-speed steel: with high hardness, high wear resistance and high heat resistance, it is a commonly used material for manufacturing tools and molds, PCBN inserts can be used to cut high-speed steel to improve processing efficiency and quality.

o Hardened steel: the hardness of hardened steel is greatly increased after quenching treatment, PCBN blades are the ideal tool material for hard cutting of hardened steel, which can realize turning instead of grinding and improve machining efficiency.

o High-frequency quenched steel: high surface hardness, good wear resistance, PCBN blades can be used to finish it and obtain good surface quality.

o Tool steel: used for manufacturing various tools, such as cutting tools, molds, etc. PCBN blades can be used for cutting tool steel to ensure the precision and quality of tools.

o Bearing steel: with high hardness, high wear resistance and good toughness, PCBN blades can be used to process bearing steel made of bearing inner and outer rings, balls and other components.

3. ordinary gray cast iron: such as HT150, HT200, HT250, HT300, etc., commonly used in the manufacture of engine block, cylinder head, brake disk, brake drum, pulley, clutch pressure plate and other parts, PCBN blade can be used for high-speed cutting and processing, to improve machining efficiency and surface quality.

4. Other difficult-to-machine materials:

o Powder metallurgy materials: with high hardness, high wear resistance and complex shape, PCBN inserts can be used to process powder metallurgy parts to improve machining precision and efficiency.

o High-temperature alloy materials: such as nickel-based, iron-based, cobalt-based high-temperature alloys, with good high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, PCBN inserts can be used to a certain extent for its cutting and processing.

o High hardness surfacing / spray welding / laser cladding / thermal spraying material workpieces: these materials have high surface hardness and good wear resistance, PCBN blades can be used to machine them to meet the size and surface quality requirements of the parts.
