The diamond roller dresser (also known as a rotary dresser) is a type of diamond roller tool used for grinding wheel dressing, featuring a working surface embedded with numerous fine diamond grains. Its operating principle is that conventional grinding wheels or CBN grinding wheels are shaped and dressed by the diamond roller dresser mounted on the grinding machine; after dressing, the grinding wheel machines the workpieces, allowing the contour, accuracy, and dimensions of the diamond roller dresser to be transferred through the grinding wheel onto the surface of the parts being ground.
