The concave, three-blade PDC bit is designed for full-face drilling without core recovery. It uses polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) cutters. Its concave profile helps keep the bit centered and reduces the risk of deviation while drilling.
Polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) cutters: The bit uses high-quality diamond composite cutters with high hardness and wear resistance. They cut through rock, deliver a high rate of penetration, and have a longer service life than tungsten-carbide bits.
High-strength body: The bit body is forged from alloy steel. It offers good toughness and impact resistance and is resistant to blade chipping and breakage, making it suitable for challenging geological conditions in underground workings.
Three blades with flushing channels: The channels circulate water or drilling fluid and efficiently remove cuttings. Central and side flushing nozzles direct fluid to the cutters, helping cool the bit and clear cuttings from the bottom of the hole. Drilling must be carried out with a continuous supply of water or drilling fluid.
Standard threaded connection: The shank has a standard thread compatible with conventional geological drill rods. The bit is easy to install and remove and is suitable for use with a range of drilling rigs.
Exploratory drilling and aquifer detection in coal mines
Gas drainage borehole drilling
Drilling holes for grout injection and rock reinforcement
Geological exploration and engineering site investigations
Shallow water-well drilling
Suitable for drilling in soft to medium-hard rock, clay, sandy ground, weathered rock, and coal seams.
Before drilling, inspect the threaded connection and secure the bit firmly.
Start with moderate weight on bit and low rotational speed. Increase operating parameters gradually once the bit is stable.
If the bit encounters a hard layer or becomes stuck, reduce the load and carefully work the drill string. Do not try to overcome resistance by applying excessive pressure.
Maintain a continuous supply of water or drilling fluid.
Dry drilling is prohibited: overheating may damage the PDC cutters.
